James Orah Ashabraner III began taking art lessons as a young child. He continued studying art throughout his school years. Entering college his art skills became secondary as he pursued other degrees. Entering the work world, Jim completely laid aside his art without much further thought. Several years later in 1997, Jim began to sense the call on his life as a new vision for art was birthed. Since that time, Jim has left a successful engineering job to pursue this vision full time. He has had opportunities to do commissioned pieces as well as live worship projects. He most enjoys working in the studio creating scenes to reflect revelation he has received from the Lord. The signature on the paintings is the artists middle name, Orah. It is a hebrew word, which as written means God's light.
