Ps 23:1-3 NASU The image here is of someone scraping paint off a window as one might do when restoring an old house. Over the years I've watched my dad restore many hopeless looking old cars to their original beauty. The restoring of souls, however, lies singularly with our heavenly father. As He works to get us back to what we were originally created to be, we begin to see the beauty that's inside.
